Murder On The Orient Express movie

Murder on the Orient Express movie is finally out! Hercule Poirot, one of greatest detective and a retired Belgian police officer, is aboard the Taurus Express train heading to Istanbul from Paris. On the train are two other passengers Colonel Arbuthnot and Mary Debenham. They pretend to be strangers, but Poirot notices behavior that suggests otherwise. He is suspicious of the couple.

The train arrives in Istanbul and Poirot checks in at the Tokatlian Hotel. Soon afterward, a telegram summons him back to London. He boards the Orient Express and is forced to travel in a second-class cabin. Hector McQueen and Ratchett are also aboard the train. Mr. Ratchett approaches Poirot and requests him to work for him. He informs Poirot that he has been receiving threatening letters and that he believes someone wants to kill him.

However, Poirot declines the case. M. Bouc arranges to be moved to another coach and gives Poirot his place in the first class. Poirot observes some unusual occurrences in the first class. Later he is awakened by a cry from Ratchett’s cabin next to him. The conductor knocks on Ratchett’s door and a voice from inside informs him that all is well.

Poirot is unable to sleep because of the peculiar silence on the train. He rings the bell for water and is told by the conductor that the train is stuck in a snowbank. He then hears a loud thump in the next compartment. In the morning, the train is still stuck and M. Bouc tells Poirot that Ratchett has been murdered and the killer is still aboard the train. Poirot has to find clues before the killer strikes again. Who murdered Ratchett?
