Will we play with other groups?
You have a choice! You can play alone or you can pair up with other guests and play together. Just click the "info" buttons when you are booking to check which experience you are booking.
How long will the experience last?
Your entire experience will normally take over 1 hour. The game itself can last up to 60 minutes, and we will give you a video briefing before your game starts, and drinks and a photo after your game.
What skills do I need to play?
No special skills or knowledge are required to play the games, apart from a decent understanding of English.
May I leave the room in the middle of the game?
It is better for your experience to stay in the game until you escape, although in an emergency you can always leave the game.
What if we need help during the game?
Your group will be assigned a personal Game Master to guide you through your experience. If are are really stuck, you may ask for a hint!
May I book a large group or a private event?
Yes you can! Please contact Kimberly at [email protected] for more information on group and private bookings. Price per person for groups of over 15 will drop!
Who can play the game?
Anyone can play our games in groups of 2-6 players. We recommend that children under the ages of 7 do not play as they might not understand the games. Participants under 18 years of age, must have a waiver signed by a parent or a legal guardian at the time of their experience. In the event the guardian won't be present with the person under 18 years of age, please fill out this waiver
Am I really locked in a room?
No. Fire marshals would never allow that. You will definitely “feel” like you are locked in but if you ever need to step out of the room, then you can. You will be so immersed in the game that you won’t even think about it!
Are your games wheelchair accessible?
Yes. We pride ourselves on having totally accessible games. There maybe occasional puzzles that require additional assistance but in general everyone can play an active part in all aspects of the games.
Is there a dress code?
Just come as you are! Just make sure your comfy as all of your senses will be on high alert!
What are the Terms and Conditions for your Gift Cards?
They are only valid in the venue that the card is purchased from They are valid for 1 year from purchase To redeem the voucher, call the venue or go online
What happens if I arrive late?
The door to the room closes exactly at the time you signed up for. Please arrive 15 – 20 minutes early to make sure you are there before the room is locked. We may be able to get you into the room after your allotted time, but if we can you will have time deducted. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.
Are mobile phones permitted?
Mobile phones are not allowed to be used in the room. The use of electronic devices or any outside tools are strictly prohibited. We provide a safe place in each game room for you to store your phone and belongings while you play!
What is your cancellation policy?
We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase. We may be able to change your game to an alternative slot or provide credit for a future game. Please call the venue for more details.
Who can play the game?

How soon should I arrive for my game?
Parking here at Mission Beach is very busy, so we recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled game start time to be sure that you can park and get in the building on time. We have a comfortable lounge for you to wait in before your game starts.
Do I need any special skills to play Escapology?
Basic competency in English and grade-school level knowledge of math will be assets during your game. Otherwise, all you need is a good sense of adventure and curiosity! If you get stuck, our team of game masters will be on hand to help you out.
Is it okay to leave the room during my game? Will it be scary?
In the case of an emergency, our game masters are able to let you out of the game immediately. Since interrupting your game can be bummer, we recommend that you use the bathroom and have a snack before the experience starts. However, we understand that things come up and are happy to help in whatever way we can. Our escape room games are not designed to be scary or threatening in any way. Think “cross-word puzzle” more than “haunted house” After all, at the end of the day we’re here to have fun!
What if we get stuck with a puzzle? Can we ask for help?
Yes! Our game masters will be watching and listening as you work your way through the puzzle and are on hand to provide tips and tricks as needed.
Do you accept large groups or cater to events?
Yes! We love hosting parties at Escapology! Whether you’re planning a field trip, corporate event, family reunion, or gaming convention, we are happy to accommodate you. We have free parking on site, and our game masters can assist with serving large parties. Just make sure to give us a call so that we can make the appropriate preparations to ensure your event is success!
Who can play Escapology?
Our games are best for players aged 12 and up, although younger children may participate as long as they are with an adult. The experience may not be ideal for children under the age of 7, as the puzzles might be too challenging for them to solve. Participants under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by a parent or a legal guardian at the time of their experience.
How early in advance should I arrive before my game starts?
Although we do have free parking on site, it sometimes does fill up during the weekend or on holidays. We recommend giving yourself and your team about 30 minutes before the game to park, use the bathroom, check in, and ask any questions you might have.
