First things first, what is an Escape Game? An escape game is an activity you can do with your friends, family, co workers, boyfriend, girlfriend, your cousin's best friend’s boss, or complete strangers! You have an allotted time (usually 60 minutes, depending on company/game) where you are “locked” in a room and have to unlock locks, solve puzzles and riddles, and get out of the room before the time runs out! Natural leaders blossom and bonds are built or broken, depending on the outcome.
Escapology first opened in December 2014 in Orlando, Florida - Yes, the city where you can find not only a large talking mouse that wears gloves, but killer whales and yellow minions. Since opening, Escapology Orlando has served more than 50,000 players a year and more than 120,000 customers overall. “Achieving Number 1 status in Orlando on TripAdvisor within six months of opening was an amazing achievement beyond our wildest dreams,” owner Simon Davison said. “We are raising the bar and leading the market in the quality of our customer experience and service.”
No more than four months after opening we had inquires for franchises and that created a new wave of excitement! We received inquires from all over the world from Austin, Texas to Ecuador. E-mails and phone calls were coming in constantly! This month alone we have opened three locations; Wichita, Kansas, Montgomery, Alabama, and Lakeland, Florida! We have even signed to open new locations in cities like Garwood, New Jersey, Huntsville, Alabama, and Augusta, Georgia! Amazing, right?
